Helping Your Pets Get into a Calm, Neutral State
You’re on your way home and before you even get out of your vehicle, you hear your dogs barking like the kids when a parent walks in who they haven’t seen all day – they are SO excited it takes them a long time to calm down and let you get in the door.
A way to initiate a different experience is to visualize each of them and silently or aloud tell them you are leaving to return home and it will be your vehicle pulling into the driveway next. It lets them know you are starting connection with them.
You can also do this through a variety of other fun ways that brings you quickly into their communication channel as it lightens your energy and opens the door for play which is one of their favorite love languages by using their names in song or singing their names or the like.
Not a songster? Create a poem based on his, her, or their personality, toys, and or favorite things to do.
With all the animal beings I visit with in my business, I connect in with each as I leave my place or another pet’s home letting them know I am on my way. If I run into a road or other delay, I let them know.
With one crew, they were barkers and high energy. I connected in with them visually to let them know I was on my way and then reconnected when I got to their subdivision, their driveway and as I approached the front door. Over the course of a week, I did this with them.
At the end of the week, there was no barking and both were in a much calmer state. This made getting in, conversing with them, and making better use of the time available about enjoying the moments together. ❤️
It sets up the day, evening or experience in a more relaxed and present environment. They are still happy to see you, be with you, and the like - and they are in a neutral state of being.
Doing this also with time can open up the channel for two-way communications between you and the animal beings.
Often just like us, they want to know they are heard and acknowledging what they are sharing goes a long way.
