Reframing from the Inside Out

Today was the day, to step back into my recent book and find the hidden gems through a series of flipping and reframing the experiences. To see the path forward clearly, the book had to be written and the time and space gelled, the heart opened wider to see the journey through the next layer of eyes and consciousness.

If you like mysteries and adventure, it is often the clues beneath the surface items, below the overarching patterns, dug deep into the core and reviewed by standing within that innermost sanctum and seeing up and out through the layers of life – yes, from the inside out.

Like being at the center of a tree, yet it’s not until it is crosscut that one sees how it grew, that you see the layers of life it lived.

Likewise, the true story is one of perspective, looking at the layers, and feeling into all the corners. When we release the emotions, the thoughts, the stories - and see those experiences through new eyes, we are given the gift of seeing the soul’s journey forward and the lessons being taught and learned beneath the surface, the joys unveiled, and the climb anew.

Reframing allows us to see the heroes journey, the antagonist’s foray, the inner self’s pain and the layers of life held in limbo via the emotions held within, the beliefs locked in like a snapshot of the experience. All the past moments of joys, sorrows, successes, missteps, and growth held dormant in a singular, stationary, never changing glimpse of a moment held deep within.

Often in life one of the most challenging things to declutter are the pictures taken, the snapshots of moments, the images of who we are now in this moment versus who we were in a past moment. Those frozen moments stuck in our bodies, hearts and minds don’t depict the movement and growth beyond that point. Within those old stories, we are still that eight-year-old girl.

To flip the script of the story, releases that stagnant image of who we were – and allows us to dissolve the emotions, thoughts, and the patterns of that girl’s experience to see the lessons, the love and the growth of becoming the new version. By releasing the old, stagnant image we give ourselves permission to step fully into who we truly are on all levels.

Dissolving the past personification revitalizes our inner blueprint, allows us to make new choices, and reclaims the life force energy that was held stationary by that inner photograph. By releasing or dissolving the old images, we take back our power from the stories we’ve held onto of who we are and the level of growth and expansion we can live. Reframing gives us the longitude and latitude to shift those images and see ourselves in full living and thriving color.
