Adventures in Life
In the past two weeks, I have had several experiences that have brought through really high energy moments and ones that I have overcome something that gave me insight into the journey of the past year. Each of these are in some ways very different.
The first was very unexpected as I took my twenty-year old, nearly historic car in for an oil change learning that it was necessary to get a new to me car. One of the normal routine pieces of the process that I wasn’t looking forward to, yet I overcame and accomplished was test-driving a vehicle as sometimes a tremor surfaces which makes driving interesting not only for me, but others in the vehicle – and it often comes out of worry for others experience.
It did surface in the first test drive, as well as the second to a lesser degree – but it gave me the opportunity to share that it sometimes occurs, to talk about it, what it was, what it wasn’t with a stranger, reduce the triggering energy around it, and move beyond it. This is a huge leap forward in my world. And asking to test drive the first vehicle a second time also a step towards speaking up for myself and asking for what I needed.
The second was to step outside of a business comfort zone and it is funny in the way the Universe works to stretch us. I had two new clients come in right around the same time, both lived just beyond a road with 51 in the title and not the same road. Both families lived to the east of the roads. 51 in angel numbers is about keeping our focus on what we want to call into our lives for the more we think about the opposite that is the type of energy and experiences we bring into our reality.
The third which was today was the opportunity to do a hiking trail that I haven’t done since early last year. I always ask my spiritual team which I am to do and am guided on the drive there. I asked where we were starting, got an answer and as I stepped upon the trail my paternal grandparents came into my awareness. Both are in spirit and were walking with me, so I knew eventually conversations would lead back to them, but I was guided to say affirmations on the first trail for 1.4 miles of how strong, resilient, and flexible my body and mind are. How my lungs breathe with ease and so forth. As a result, the hike was done quickly and was easier to ascend the trail to the top.
The second trail was a total of six miles roundtrip into the desert and one that reopened the connection with my grandparents, understanding their hurdles from a much higher perspective than my earlier awareness allowed. Between the affirmations and this walk clearing the old perspectives, thanking them for the roles they played for me in my lifetime, and the journeys traveled with them through the challenging and often misunderstood pieces, we were able to reconcile the experiences with the help of spirit. Completing the nearly 7.4 miles was done with joy, love, great energy and ease.
Life’s adventures can be surprising, can open doors that were perceived to have been closed long ago, and can show us a side to ourselves and who we are that opens new channels to guide ourselves along the paths of life. Ones that can teach us how talking to ourselves in new ways can not only empower us but energize the body and change our perceptions of what 7+ miles looks and feels like.
