Is my pet speaking with me?

For those of you who use the talking buttons with your pets, know that how they use it may shift based on who they are with, or when they are working to communicate with you.

For instance, the word outside which in one instance is about the dog having to go outside to potty, can also be a desire for someone to come out of the room. Or leave a space or move beyond where you are physically, emotionally or mentally. Yes, it can get a little unwieldy unless you are aware of your thoughts and what you are feeling in the moments just before.

The same thing can be said for a pet who is attempting to dig through a blanket or scratch the top of something (the top of your legs or anything else), these can be taken quite literally with a message that whatever you are doing in your life is scratching the surface on what you are working toward or being asked to keep digging to get to the truth or keep going deeper to get to the next level of understanding.

A cat that pulls back a rug, is often communicating to uncover something or get beneath the surface. A cat or dog opening a cabinet door, can be telling you to open the door which can represent a new opportunity is available, make that call, talk to that person, or all you need to do is take a step towards it. A pet focusing on a closed door can be answering a question about the door to that opportunity being closed or that when you go to the place you are talking about, a door may be closed. Likewise a animal friend that purposefully goes to a sunspot on the floor while watching you, can be saying, lighten up, see it in a new light or another way.

A gate can be a message of a portal, or like the door, the opportunity is available you just need to take the steps forward and walk through. Depending on how close your animal family are sitting or standing in reference to the gate or whether they are on one side or the other can again be a literal definition: you are close, you are at the gate, you are on the other side of the threshold and the like. Depending on the discussion, it can represent being on one side or the other of transformation or someone is close to passing.

A pet dropping to a floor and showing you their belly can mean they are submissive to you - or in a conversation can be asking you to surrender or let go of a belief, thought process, frustration, old version of yourself or the like.

So, if you are wondering if your cat, dog, rabbit, or other animal friend is communicating with you, begin tuning into your thoughts, emotions and the like just before they started getting your attention either through a new behavior or one considered a misbehaving. Often there is a message in their madness!
