Animals Communicating
When people talk about animal communications what do they mean? Personally, I have experienced animals sharing messages in a variety of ways. Sometimes, I hear a dog barking and at the same time I hear the English translation over it with the barking drifting into the background. This was the case with a dog that truly understood me and I her. She is a cheerleader wanting to see the people in her life succeed and move beyond the walls that often keep us stuck. One night she helped me quite literally get through a wall the whole time telling me I could do it. She was most definitely ready to celebrate with me afterward.
I will on occasion hear a voice which can mean it is unspoken (a thought they are having). This was the case of a young puppy who was so excited and in complete wonderment by the birds that flew into his yard that he didn’t immediately run to chase them out until his older sister made a micro move with her back leg while shifting her weight. That’s when I heard, “Oh yeah, this is my yard – I’m supposed to be protecting it” as he raced toward them.
With many, they speak with their actions and behaviors – occasionally using props to get their message across. With a cat sibling, a transitioned cat came through to share a message about flowers that were on a kitchen island and knowing the meaning of them. The transitioned cat would come through his brother several times while I was there to share messages.
With one pet this week, after a relaxing morning visit the dog began doing short bursts of energetic play pointedly at me…she was referring to an incoming call and that if I agreed to it, I would be running here and there all day with no rest. I wish I had picked up on that one sooner! With another kid uses yard props to help get his messages through to me: a garden glove is a message that he can handle it, or he will be okay; a small garden or toy shovel is his symbol for digging or something being below the surface.
At other times, it will be a strong knowing and/or emotion that comes through me. While out hiking one day, I heard a dog barking from a house down from the mountain top where I was. It was incessantly getting his message out loud enough to make me stop and think to myself that it sounds like a warning. As I began to slowly move forward, a rattlesnake came into view. I stopped and waited for it to move on. It can be acknowledging the intuitive information coming about what I am about to walk into in a home.
And still, I can receive messages from pets and animals in my dreams. Some have shared that the intending next day’s visit is being called off, others to share that their human will be reaching out to request vacation visits, and several before I have met them.
People receive and understand animals talking in unique ways. I have found that it is often the animal themselves that chooses the way they communicate a message. When you believe your pet is speaking to you know they will repeat their method several times. Often it is about something coming into your experience: a phone call, text, request – and a part of the life lessons you are currently working on.
