Finding Peace

Finding those peaceful moments can look different for each individual and what that represents to them. It can be a houseful or solo, lots of activity, companionship, gazing out a window or reading.

Whether one observes the feeling of peace within themselves or looking at their immediate environment or even the world around them, it can have varied meanings.

Moments of peace may appear around you naturally or you may need to create them for yourself by going for a walk, standing outside, listening to nature, or going to a different room or space.

The animal beings do this regularly through taking a nap, gazing out a window, going outside, or even being in a space away from it all - it can be for just a moment or an hour or two.

They have learned that taking care of themselves is key. Sometimes we believe we need permission, yet you only need your own.

If need be, follow your animal family’s lead…they too always teach and bring peaceful moments into the day along with joyous times, playful ones, and nourishing themselves with connection, food, water, and everything that represents family time.

And at this time of year many enjoy laying beneath or around the Christmas tree gazing up at the lights for presence in the moments whether dogs, cats, tortoises, rabbits, or others they find peace in the present moments.
